Needing opinions on what stall # to get for my car 1981 malibu

Th350
Cam is 227/234 .600"/.600" 114 LSA 111 ICL
373 gearing
Dynoed 400tq and 375hp
5.3lm7

Was thinking a 3400 3600?

What is your planned usage for the vehicle? street car, race car, somewhere in between?
Do you have a transbrake?
What is the weight of the vehicle?
What is the rear tire size?
What RPM are you shifting at?

weighs maybe 2800 3000lbs

I would recommend the FTI ESR3082 (450hp) for your current power and setup. This is a 3000rpm stall converter with a positive fin angle that will offer great efficiency and drive-ability since this is a daily driver.
If you plan to upgrade in the future and are planning ahead the SR3082 (750hp) is the billet version and is one of our most popular series of converters.
