a little gratitude i made a post asking about what torque converter to use on 4l80e. and instantly was offered help, i dont know how long maybe a few months ago. and feel like i made the right choice with the advice given, had a good working 4l80e late 4x4 that had to have the output shaft swapped. didnt even realize that i had what i needed already with a core 2wd early model. until i read one of the guys here post that wanted to give up a few times while he was in the thick of it. really grateful for you suffering through that 'chello" i think thats what people call you. its taken me a long time to put this trans together but i would have had to send it out and pay someone else to not really put the effort this as i would want. i havent pulled the blowed up 10x stage platinum 4l60e out yet and put this thing in yet. im still debating on using jakes valve body. thats my only regret i coulda bought his valve body with the money i have in reaming tools and valves. and i still might buy it. thats the only thing im worried about. i feel pretty dang confident this is gonna make a good trans. oh and im always wrong when i do this but i feel like i know frank ive already drawn up a mental picture of what he looks like. just saying thanks guys, you dont even know how valuable this is. especially the guys offering help that run a shop. i dont know where you find the time and patience.
