Default 2010 4l60e manual shift??

My niegbor is LS swapping his ‘72 impala, he already has the motor and trans installed and most of the wiring harness ran, it is an ebay/amazon cheap harness…the problem is he didnt get the ecm/tcm out of the donor vehicle…..so is there a specific e38 or e67 module we need to look for…..with an e67 do we need to get a seperate tcm? I thought the 3rd blue plug was for the trans on the e67….does the e38 need a seperate trans tcm seeing as how it has only 2 plugs??? Also lastly does anybody know if the ncr60-e (manual shift ebay/amazon)box will work on a 2010 4l60e…i myself never touched any 4th gen stuff with factory ecu only 3rd gen…if it were mine id just go aftermarket ecu/harness but its my nieghbor and i know he isnt made of money he’s a younger kid and im just trying to get him up and going….. do i go with a e38 and t42 or a e67……or e38 and ncr60e manual box??? Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance,

I do not think the EBAY thing will work as it relies on the MPS on the VB to work. . I would imagine something could created with the 09 up MLPS/ Neutral safety switch , Would have to look at wiring diagram .
