Th400, which sensor should I use?
It appears you have a very rare TH400 VSS. I see the reluctor alone selling for $90. There was only 1 listing for an output shaft and sensor for $300+.
If you are running a factory digital dash you might only need the GM sensor and reluctor wheel.
I believe the Dakota Digital is made for their digital speedometer.
Your best bet is to call Dakota Digital direct. They are always very helpful...

I believe I have the parts to use the the cable drive one, I looked again at my other trans and there is no wheel for some reason. I don't plan to use a digital gauge and just use a cts3 for monitoring. Truck is a bush buggy
So if you are just using a cable drive speedometer and you need gears & etc. Here is where I get most of what I need. He will even tell you what gears are required. You will need to provide actual tire size and the rear gear ratio.

I have a gear calculator too if you post the info, I'll run the #'s and post them back here.
