Default 4L80E Long Term Storage

I have a 4L80E 2WD that I pulled from a working truck over ten years ago. We have been moving the transmission around the garage over the years and my bro-in-law propped a 4x4 right under the torque converter and another 4x4 under the tailshaft to elevate it off the floor. I didn't realize this until this past weekend. I'm sure the weight resting on the TC may have caused some stress to maybe the pump or other internals. I'm getting to the point where I'll be installing the engine and transmission. Other than output seal and new fluid, anything I should do or look out for before installing?

Storing it like that won't harm anything.

The bigger worry for you is moisture.
Storing a unit for that long unsealed allows moisture from the atmosphere into the unit.

Thanks for the response. Makes me feel a little better.
