Default th350 front pump stator machined sleeve

I have a front pump for a th350, the stainless sleeve for the direct drum bushing was damaged on the stator. i purchased a new sleeve online, but i have never had to replace/install one before. what is the trick to seating it onto the stator shaft. I was thinking maybe heat it up to expand it thin try and press it on. Is there a tool made to press these on with? thanks.

I ended up buying a sleeve. Rigged something up to press it on. Chucked up in the lathe and machined it down to size for the direct bushing. Worked pretty good. Saved buying a pump stator. They are hard to find.

Nice and yes I also saw in one of the DYI 350 post someplace in FB a guy made a sleeve for the DIRECT DRUM and machine it and installed sleeve to fix wear grooves . Guess with the really old stuff things like this and fixes will become more common as parts get harder to find.
My issue with 350s though I rarely do them anymore (no demand) is the wave plate missiing from INT clutch and no one has them. But to me they have always been imperitive to save the INT sprag and race. But many builders use to discard and replace with flat steels. I have tried to make my own but just cant get one uniform enough.
