Transmission questions. Please advise. I have a less than 10,000 miles rebuilt 4L60E on my heads/cam 98 TA. My problem is the 2-3 shift. I have tried many different things and the only way to keep my car from hitting the limiter 6800, shift point is set at 6200, is to let of slightly and get back on it after it shifts. The strange part is that if I hit it from a roll 60 mph or so it will perform the 2-3 shift flawlessly. If I go from a stop or say a 35 mph roll, it will hit the limiter. Do I need a deeper transmission pan? My fluid levels are fine, and I know there are faster cars then me (high 11's on motor) not having this problem. Any advice, here is a small list of my drivetrain mods. 3800 Super Street Fighter stall, 3.73's, ls1edit (I have tried to fix the problem with programming and it has never worked). Jason@TSP has tuned the car and does say it is a problem with the tuning. Any suggestions?

possibly up the 2-3 pressure some, and then
play with the shift MPH to give you the "lead"
you need to clear the limiter.
I've noticed something very kooky about the
Force Motor table - the 100% column is full of
1245 (a large blow-off that would knock line way
down). In the trans shift settings of HPTuners there
is also a max line field that is set to like 95% so
(theoretically) you would never see the hokey
line drop. But, if this max line got raised you might
be interpolating over to a kooky line drop. You might
want to get into that table and set the 100% value
the same as the 90%, 95% values just for luck and
see. Check it out, anyway - dunno whether the '98
is all the same as my '02, there might be other odd
things of a similar nature that need a comb run
through them.
