Default Got my TCI installed!!!

Oh, man. Now I know what everybody talks about. I love that thing. I have the line pressure raised right now but I might put put a shift kit in to harden up the shifts a little. Does anybody else have a problem with the loss of shift hardness when passing on the highway and down shifting.
Other than that I can light up the tires all the way up to 40mph.

That's pretty common.

What are you using to tune?

I had a Dyno Tune done. But I can bring it back for any adjustments.

I had a TCI 3800 installed a while back, and yeah, I'm having problems with firmness too. I'm thinking about putting in a shift kit, deleting TM, and also raising the lockup point (getting a really weird vibration in OD when the tranny "tries" to downshift)

I installed a B & M trans pak in my car after my TCI 3800 and the car shifted alot faster and firmer , it was a great buy for under 100.00...

is deleting the torque managment a good idea? i thought you would start burning out the bands if you did that.

Deleting the TQ management prevents the power drop during shifts (it pulls timing) so this naturally places additional stress on the friction materials. It's the 3-4 clutch pack that tends to bite the dust, not the band (there is one band.)

I still like to delete it though. The same logic of NOT removing TM would also have us not adding HP to our engines.
