Help Tranny acting up
Help Tranny acting up Tonight when I was cruising down the highway my truck was turning more RPM than if it were in overdrive. Looked at the indicator and I was in overdrive. Gave the truck some gas and it shifted into overdrive, let off and it went back into lock up or drive. Under light pressure it would shift into overdrive. Then when cruising it would shift out of overdrive.
I guess I should have mentioned its a 4l60e with less than 9k miles on it Idid have a tranny shop install a Vette servo a Transgo s/k and a acc piston.

are you sure it's not the tranny just unlocking back and forth but still staying in 4th gear? If so, it may be a tuning issue. my tranny shifts like this 1-2-3-4-4th lockup. Give it some gas and it unlocks but stays in 4th. Give it a lot of gas and it downshifts to 3rd
No when im cruisin its in lock up I guess ya call it then give it a little throttle it shifts into O/D then give it more throttle it will down shift into D.Its happening at 70 mph. Could this be something westers could fix. Im gonna go take it for a ride now.
