My Stage4 from Dave @ Rock On will ship this week - I've heard nothing but good things about his quality of work and service. From talking with him the numerous times I get the distinct impression that he actually gives a $hit about his customers and will go out of his way to satisfy.

I can't wait to get rid of this stock A4 with the going to hell 3-4 shift and put in the Rock On

My 1-2 shift is firm and my 2-3 3-4 shifts can't really be felt unless at wot so be prepared for that if yours is setup like mine. It WORKS so I don't complain.

Do you have the newer version of his tranny? He has switched from electronic controls to vacuum modulation, in addition to the shift kit and removing the TC lock-up clutch fluid feed orifice.

From the people I have talked with that have the newer version - the tranny shifts pretty much as stock under light load but at WOT the shifts are very firm and noticeable, and the TC lock-up is more noticeable also - as if the tranny is shifting into another gear.

I'm sure it depends on what you need. Also, Dave is working on a few new custom pieces.

They custom build every transmission depending on your car and needs. No transmission will be or cost the same. they got the GM warranty company to cover half so I was happy

Rock-On builds some good trannies. Alot of the guys around DFW have used them and I've heard not one complaint. Here's a little more info for ya. He might run specials and what not soo... Also it wouldn't hurt for you guys to mention you heard about him from this site. Might sway some sponsorship

Hey 94form2000z, Wheres your power level and where are you going with it???I
its really rough when we are trying to determine a price, when we don't know where your trying to go...And hey thanks for the kind words you have offered on our behalf. (also our base tranny has a built hi rev,non cavating pump, hardened balanced reinforced input drum, 7pac raybestose blue, reinforced sunshell(beast), new selonoids, transgo reprograming kit, vacume modulated, 29 unit sprag, extra wide alto band...and a whole bunch of other ****...i'd have to show ya......and we build them in house and dyno em before we ever ship one....all this for 1,800.00 base this is our basic tranny...we can build from there. Our install is 200.00. 2000.00 out the door. compare to others and you'll see where we stand on quality and price. Dave

A dozen times huh? I gotta call BS on that statement. I personally reply to all sponsorship inquiries and they typically get responded to within a day or two. I've never even heard of your company before, and have never received anything from you. Are you sure you contacted THIS site?

Here is my email address if you are really interested: ynot_dv8@hotmail.com

Rock on is a sponsor on LS1.Com. Haven't heard much feedback on them yet though.
