Default Vaccum Modulated 4L60E

Anyone out here have a vacuum modulated 4l60e? I am looking into getting a FLP level 4 transmission, and was wondering how the vacuum would work with my setup. Since I have a 4400 w/4.11 gears I am at higher rpms than the average car. Would this affect streetability? Transmission life? Would I notice a difference on the street or at the track?

I am running one with my PT4000 and 3.73's. It should work out great. It will not affest streetablility and may prolong transmission life. Good thing is it takes the line pressure control away from the computer. Check out Rock-On Transmissions in Denton, TX. They build them vacuum modualted as well with warranty. They also dyno all trannies before they get installed or shipped. Probably save ya quite a bit of $.

I use the Trans-Go modulator on all of my builds with very good results. It can only help, if installed correctly.

Where do you hook up the vaccume line for a ls1/ls6 manifold. If you have mods like h/c which effect vaccume, how do you adjust for that.

T off the brake booster line.

Transgo here as well.

With my 228/228 cam I've not lost enough vacuum to worry about or adjust anything.

No. Other than adjusting shift points maybe. This controls line pressure more than anything. So line pressure adjustments doen via LS1 edit or other programmer will not change or be effective in line pressures.

FLP stage 4 here, vacuum modulated, drawing from brake booster.
Chuck at FLP told me the only thing needed to adjust are the shift points. Trans pressure etc.... are allready set during builtup.
I should get it back the day after tomorrow, can't wait.
