Default Looking for new Transmission

Looking to replace my 4L60E with a stronger 4L60E. Feel it slipping a little and dont really want to rebuild. Can anyone point me in the right direction. My car will soon be having more power and torque(400+) but want it streetable since I used it mainly for patrol duties. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dan

FLP or ROSSLER make excellent transmissions. I know the FLP stage 4 trans is popular. shoot them a call they should be able to hook it up for you

Shipping is going to be killer (They'll probably want your core so there is shipping both ways). Is there no one local than can properly rebuild it if you buy good bands, clutches, etc?

The trans shops we have here usually focus on just rebuilds. Plus I the price of built trans versus a rebuilt trans is almost the same. A rebuilt trans herer is almost 2K. Just want something stronger that will be able to handle the planned horsepower. Right now with the horsepower that I have, I already can feel the slippage in the trans. And since I use this car for patrol, I know it will be going soon. Already the fluid is turning dirty pink. I really dont mind spending the money on a good built trans because I plan on keeping this car forever.

Thanks, what do you think about TCI. I am kinda leaning toward the FLP stg4. I'll give them a call.

Thanks

Default Transmission rebuild

Try this site:
http://www.transmissioncenter.net/4L60E.htm

Used their Raptor 700E rebiuld kit for a supercharged LS1. No need to send core. (I have same shipping issues as you do).

Be prepared to reprogram for shift speedsand TCC lock up.

Good luck

I be more than happy to recommend a TCI transmission for your application. Feel free to give me a call at 1-662-224-9377.
