Default temp gauge?

I want to install a tranny temp gauge when I get my new 4l60e in.

Is there a sending unit that screws into the drain plug by chance?
If so, where can I find one?

If not, where do I put it?
Where can I find one?

I used the plug directly above the linkage on the drivers side of the trans. its a preasure test port or something. the plug has the same threads as the auto meter sending unit, easy install, well if you have small hands it's simple.

An autometer one huh?

How much?

Also, I've heard about inaccurate readings from that test port...
