one of the valves i put in the pump said it allowed more fluid flow to the converter i think it helps cut down on the shudder you sometimes get with a stall

i want some power along with my stall i have determined to go with a 35 or 3600 stall so what would be best factory 2.73 or 3.42 or a 3.73 a lil worse gas milage would note hurt that bad or 2500 rpm at 70 mph would not be terrible as far as a 3.73 goes but i just want the most power out of my gear ..... its hard to decide b/c everyone hates or loves a 3.73 and i figure if nothing else u cant go wrong with a 3.42 besides the 2.73

wow i have been reading some of these other post!!! and i was wondering after i get my gear(3.42/3.73) and my (3500/3600)stall am i going to have to have stuff like a tranny cooler and all those stabalizer bars.... etc.??? also everyone says after a stall you have to tune your tranny does that mean a HP tuner/programmer or another kind of tune???
