Default Backing a blown LS6

I have an LS6 transplant for my 97 SWB truck. I am getting an ATI Procharger for it. When all is said and done I should 500 plus to the ground. Any suggestion on building or buying a tranny that will hold up?

Do you need OD or is this drag only. TH400 / 4L80 is what I would look at. I'm not a truck expert so I can't tell you about whether it will fit.

It needs to be a streetable application, and yes the 4L80E will fit.
