Default going th400...have a few questions

the trans i'm going with is an auto valve body (wish it was manual) but i want to go ahead and do this now. how does a vaccum modulator know when to shift? say i'm shifting at 6600 right now with my 4l60e pt4200 setup, how does a vaccum mod. transmission know when to shift? i'm sure there's an easy answer but i don't know. also...how hard will it be later to go and put in a manual valvebody and transbrake? will i have to pull the trans outta the car or not? and will the same shifter (b&m pro shifter) work with a manual body as the auto? thanks a ton for any info.

You are more than likely going to run into a lot problems trying to program the auto shifter to shift correctly.

Why not go with the manual. No programming needed. Just do it right the 1st time. Manual, reverse shift, w/transbrake.. get the cheetah shifter. No ratching.. takes only 2 fingers to shift. No way to mess it up.

It's really worth going with the manual valve body. Everytime I hit my transbrake, they have to pry the smile off of my face. Cheetah shifter rocks as well.

Yes you can, just need to buy the valve body assembly. I have a Hipster and they are supposed to be the fastes brake around. Love it, would never be without it.
