Default Help with converter selection!!!

I have had a ST-3500 for about 3 years now. It has worked great, but I have done a new set up......huge cam, heads and maybe spray to a 200 shot. What do you guys recommend? It bogs for a second then goes likes crazy. I am thinking a a SS4000E. I want a converter that will run like crazy on the motor and on those freeway rolls I do sometimes as well. Let me know what you all think?

So you all know....
car is still a stock rear 3.23 geared Trans Am on E.T. Streets.

I wanted the same thing.... so I emailed Yank and they recomended the PT 4000 to me. I think I am going to give that a try here in a month or two. I just put in a 4000 Vig, so I want to test that out aswell. Good luck.... I cant wait to put my 150+ shot on

well with your heads combo i would go with a 4400 for the best N/A performance but IMO, thats too high for spraying, especially 200. i would go with no higher than 4000 if you intend to spray.

Good 200 shot performance and max NA performance are incompatible goals.

I would go a YTP 4200 and optimize for NA. You can spray a 100 shot on that if you are spinning the motor to 6800+.

How about to optimize for the N20 and still run ok with just the motor. I will give a little on the motor to run harder on the N20.

If you want to optimize on NO2 then you should lower your stall to about 3200-3400... nitrous's tq curve hits hard down low

With a 200 shot you might want to stick with what you have. It should perform great on that much spray!
