what internally in the transmission holds the output shaft in place? is there a bushing/bearing inside the transmission? if you have the tailshaft housing off and you are looking at the output shaft there is nothing that can be seen that steadies the output shaft.

The output shaft fits inside of the driveshaft, and the bushing inside of the tailshaft housing supports the driveshaft. Inside of the transmission, its splined to the Reaction Internal Gear Support and to the Input Carrier, all held together with a snap-ring.

All true TeamTripp, also just as there is a bushing in tail housing to support front drive shaft yoke (and rear of output shaft ) there is a bushing in the rear of the transmission case that supports the rear internal ring gear hub ( center / front of output shaft ) and you can't realy see it from the outside. Hope this helps , Matt

im trying to figure out if my output shaft itself is bent, or if something internally that you referred to is maybe fuxxed...
im breaking tailshaft housings and it isnt pinion angle, the driveshaft, or anything else i can find...
