ooooo ok. i can't see why the sensor would be affected, you're not replacing a sensor when you plug the sender into the test port. the plug that you have to take out is nothing more than a 1/8" NPT bolt.

the PCM will still read trans temp fine.

ya i was gonna say, i dont think there is a stock tranny gauge. Unless i just cant see. Sorry '2muchrice', I just had to do it.
