Default Need SY4000 info

I've done some searching but still unable to find some answer's. Im thinking of purchasing an SY4000 so I can launch on the street.
1. What shift extension should I see?
2. What 60' are possible at the track?
3. How hard can I launch on the street?
4. Do you flash it or pwr brake?
5. Your oppinion plz, Good convertor?

I know that the PT4000 would be better at the track but I figured that it would be crazy to try to launch on the street. I would like to run consistence 1.6's 60'. Thanks for help

based upon what I know of the converter:
1) About 5000 rpm, maybe a little higher with a cam.
2) 1.6s
3) Pretty hard. All converters are traction limited on the street unless you drive on ET Streets
4) don't know
5) good for the street (stoplight racing). YTP 4000 is definitely better for the track and racing from a roll.

I had the YTP 4000 with 3.23s. I could launch pretty hard on the street. When switched to 3.73s it became much harder to do. The YTP 4000 assuming those tires will hold at the track is better. If you are staying with something like a nitto drag radial, then the SY 4000 is a good choice.

Thanks for the information, What kind of improvement would you think I would gain from vig3200 to sy4000 swap?

not a lot. I would go to a YTP 4000 if I were moving up from a Vig 3200

I talked to Mike & Dave at Yank today very helpful, They said the samething. The TP4000 is the right converter for my setup & driving issues. Now I just need some overtime to purchase it>>>
