Torq Converter Bolt Head Size

Torq Converter Bolt Head Size OK ....I'm getting ready to get the LS1 on the engine stand and naturally need to remove the torqe converter. The bolt heads are like a brake caliper bolt head or simular to a socket head cap screw head. What type of tool or size is required to take them out? 
I'm sure they're metric.
I'm sure they're metric. 
I cant remeber the exact size, we just bought the complete metric set at sears and it was one of the bigger ones(10mm I think). What year?? From 00-02 they have the hex head in the center, but you can use a 15mm socket on the outside of the bolt. The 98-99's have a rounded head so you have to use the hex head.
