I ran in my 01 the colonel's old tp4400 and loved it. Made a great street/track stall. Sure wish I had that over the M6 in my 02' right now. Post up you convertor and best 60's on convertor. I am considering switching the new car to A4/convertor combo.

I got a 3600 but haven't Tired it out yet since I can't keep a trans long enough
I have a Vig 3200, and my best 60' to date is a 1.69 on ET Streets w/ 3.23's. A Yank Thruster Pro may be in the forseeable future, though. I agree with Ryan that if you're looking to do the swap, just spend the money on a 200-4R. PMAC in Houston builds some AWESOME trannies. Mike Kurtz has 9-second cars running his built 200-4R flawlessly. You might give him a call at (713)666-2616 if you're interested. I've talked to him about the swap once or twice.

A Yank 3000 that was upgraded to 3200 - the STR went from 2.0 to 1.8. Best 60' is 1.79. But in reality, I'm still learning it. I put 18 passes on it, everywhare from idle to 2500 looking for the sweet spot ... finally found it at 1500 but on bald - were talking down to the steel cord - BFGs.
I have some Hoosier QTPs that are supposed to be here tomorrow ... we'll see tomorrow night

I have the Yank Thruster Pro 4500(1.52 60)
I may be moving up to a Ultra Thruster stalled to either 4900 ot 5000 with as much str that can be dialed in

Yank Super Thruster 3500. Best 60' time 1.69, but that was spinning on Nittos, LOL. I've run 11 converters in LS1 powered vehicles and this one's the best all around.

I had a yank 3000 and was pulling 1.70s with a 2.73 gear . My new convertor is a yank 3600 with str 3.0. I think its tighter then my 3000. The sotp is great.
right now I have a TP4400, but no 60' times yet.
I just took out a TP4000E. Best 60' w/ that was a 1.53 w/ 3.73's, suspension mods, and Hoosier slicks.
later,
Steve

BTW: I DO NOT recommend a UT-4600 for a stock internals car. It really needs a built valvetrain and a near 7000 rpm limit to work great.
Now that opinion may change once I get a few runs with the 3.73's .
