I need a new transmission I'm looking for a new automatic transmission. I need it to handle 500 RWHP and 600 would be better. I don't want to loose highway mpg, so I need an overdrive gear. I'm looking for quick shifts, high efficiency, low weight, and reliable parts. So far, my top choice is ls1speed Race Stage2 4L60E for $1600 that can handle 600HP/550TQ (although I've seen them advertise for cheeper). What is everyone's experience with their transmission? Can anyone reccomend a better transmission and a good place to buy it?
