What convertor should I get?
ST 3500 if you're getting nittos
SY 3500 if you're going to stay on street tires.
Your 60' indicates that you probably spin a bit at the track or soft pedal it. Under those circumstances, the SY 3500 is easier to launch. If you ever get drag radials you'll be happy for the extra hit from the ST 3500, but on the street the SY 3500 is very easy to get use to launching hard.

[quote]I have an ST3500.....It takes 3000+ rpm to start moving good from a dead stop, but I'm adapting to that pretty quickly.

..and supossedly the Vig Stalls higher...interesting.

Me likes me Vig3200.
Here's how I decided. I called BradWS6 who has used about 7 converters in the last 2 years. I said, "Brad, I wanna run 12's." Brad says, "Shooter, buy this Vig3200 off me. It'll be perfect for your mostly stock SS." I gets it installed and I call Brad on my cell phone as I'm driving home. I'm just about screaming, "This thing is Fuggin Awesome!! WooHoo!!!" Brad laughs and says, "I told you!"
Therefore, I would get a Vig3200.

Dan99:
On your stall comparison, keep in mind gwj has 2.73 gears. He also said to get moving good. I'm sure in heavy slow traffic the rpms can stay under 2000.
We still need a response to bob's questions to offer good advice.
