Rear end drops down when put into D
Not sure if this is in the right area..
When I was test driving the 04 GTO, we went to the car and blah blah, well I started it up, played around with stuff inside and then the guy was like "ok, let's go" so I put it from P to D the back end went "whoomp" and dropped down a bit, I was scared at first ( I don't have any clue what it is ) but the guy said it's normal. That was one of the coolest things I've ever experienced in a car... Now, onto my question.
I'm getting a Auto TA in a couple of months, is there a way to get the TA to drop down like the GTO does? I'm talking cost effective too here please...It just feels like the car is ready to pounce if you know what I mean..

This sounds like a suspension prone to squat (many
IRS cars are) and while it may feel interesting, it's
not necessarily a good thing. Tends to steal bite at
launch if it drops the body and lifts the wheels. You
really want the *** to get up and boogie.

maybe adjustable shocks? not sure if it would be beneficial though like stated above, i actually like the idea/feel of lift-bars which do the opposite of what you said (push the rear down and lift the body up in the back when you nail it-looks like the car "stands up" when it launches..)

All I know is that it was one of the coolest feelings... maybe it's not the best for the car but it's like... awesome If you haven't experienced it, I recomend it.
