Th-400 How is the 400 for an everyday driver and on highway.Like average rpm range on highway in third..and if it sucks would adding a torque converter to it help any? thinking of getting one cause ive about had it with the 4l60-e... thanks for the info..Chase

At 60 MPH I am turning 3000 RPM with 26" ET Streets and 3.73 gears. Should get a little better when I put the 28's on.
To get an idea how it will feel, drive your car around in 3rd - granted a TH400 doesn't lock up the converter in 3rd like the 4L60E, but it will give you an idea. They are the same 1:1 gear in 3rd.
When you wanna go fast, there are always trade-offs. When I get tired of mine, I may try a 4L80E.
