Thought I would share what I found out while on the dyno. We tested horse power with & without locking up the TC. Locking it up showed a gain of 11 horses to the rear wheels. But both the dyno shop & the guys at Yank don't recommend locking it up. My 2 cents.

As was eluded to by Tuff, there's no since in locking the converter at low RPMs. I feel that it is best used only by those with the gearing to put them across the finish line at or after the HP peak. However, I have NOT experimented with a lockup switch at the track.
