ok i was thinking today about my setup. i have the programing right now to lockup the convertor at WOT in 3rd gear. no manual switch. would me spraying a 100 shot be ok on the TCC? on the tranny?

i have had a friend of mine that manually locked up his convertor a bit too early on a big shot and had a nitrous backfire.

i have a built 4L60e and Yank ST4000 convertor. 230/230 comp cam, 4.10 gearing, 27" drag tire, and shift points around 6600.

 

i would think you would smoke the lockup clutch pretty quickly doing that.
