you could over gear your trans and move your rear gear closer to 3.00. that will make more top end and retain bottom performance.

Depends on the actual tire diameter and what your willing to spin your motor to. Mine with 4.11's and a 275/40/17 tire tops out around 120 at 7000 rpms. This is with a non lock-up converter too.

What is the OUTSIDE diameter of your 15" tires? That's what matters.

If 15" was the outer diameter of the tire, your top speed would be about 60. With a 26" tire and a 5000 stall my cas top speed was around 130. With 28" tires it will be higher but I have not figured out what it will be yet, but hopeing around 160.

Because it is not directly connected to the drivetrain. The larger the converter, the more slip. We run a 29.5 tire, 4.33 gears, 6700 rpms through the traps, with a B&M 8" converter (10% slip) .... our trap speed is at 121. It will probably be higher with good traction and better weather as well.

http://www.race-cars.net/calculators...alculator.html

Just put in your Tire Size, Rear End Ratio, and RPM and it will give you your MPH. If you are running a loose converter subtract about 2mph.

Because the TCC is not capable of supporting such high demands of WOT. It is a thin contact patch that was designed for economy, not drag racing.
