aftermarket transmission pan

aftermarket transmission pan Does anybody out there have one on their car?? I found a thread in the truck section but didn't have a definite answer to whether it was a worth it. I will be getting a trans cooler and wondered if this would be a good addition as well. Its a 2000 A4 Z28. Thanks.
I just bought a standard sized polished aluminum pan that had fins and a drain plug. It cost me $60 shipped and it was worth it to me.. It looked nice however you will never see it but just the drain plug was worth it to me. It was extremely messy to take that damn pan off. GM was idiots not to put one on there anyway imo. I mean how much would it have cost them. 
Worth it? For what purpose? Cooling? Trans life? Shifting? Easier to drain?
I put a B&M on mine, because of reading of problems on upshifts when all the fluid is at the back of the pan. I wanted more fluid capacity so the fluid pickup wouldn't get uncovered. To keep shifts crisp and to save the tranny.
It hangs really low though. Before I started installing the STS kit, it was the lowest thing on the car.

The cooler will be better for cooling purposes than the deeper pan. As far as the drain plug, go to NAPA and get the drain plug kit. These are ~$6 and are easy to install into the stock pan.
