dipstick tube.......
Your probably going to have to drop the rear of the trans to get to the bolt on the back of the head that holds the dipstick in place. Thats the easiest way. You might be able to remove the bolt with out lowering the trans, I was able to, barely. You'll need a long extension, & a wiggle tail. One the bolt is gone the rest is just trying to manuver (spelling) the dipstick tube out of there. Getting it around the fire wall is a pain. Just take your time & work with it.

you have to remove that before dropping the tranny. Unless you mean removing the ds and the crossmember so the back of it drops down some.. Its not really that hard to get to. Just takes the right tools like he said. Took me maybe 5 mintues to get it...
