Just got new 373 installed in my a4 car over 273, lovem but all of a sudden no 2-3 shift at wot, <img src="graemlins/gr_images/icons/mad.gif" border="0" alt="[very mad]" /> it just runs up and sits on the rev limiter till you let off a little on the throttle whats up with that? Checked fluid level in tranny. ok and it's bright pink so what's up <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0"> <img src="images/icons/frown.gif" border="0">

 

Mine did that when I switched from 2.73 to 3.73 as well. I lowered the rev limiter -2 on my hypertech and it is fine now. Give that a try first before you try anything else. Big difference over the 2.73's isnt it? <img src="images/icons/cool.gif" border="0"> Good luck gettin it fixed

Don't have a Hypertech yet,but will get one. A nother thing I'm from the old school but whats the dill with leaving the car in OD? Just wonderd but mine does it in OD or if I shift Manualy. Thanks for the help.

 

Same problem here with the 3.73's I put in mine over the stock 3.23 it would strike the rev limit a couple times and I had to do exactly as you describe - get out and back in of the throttle for it to shift. When you get the hypertech just adjust the shift point. I think I only lowered it -1mph and it worked great but play around with it, every car is a little different.

I switched from 2.73 to 4.10 in my LT1 car, my advice, GET A HYPERTECH NOW. And dont go WOT untill you get one, i learned the hard way. (went through 4 sets of 2-3 clutches in 11 months)

 

dont ls1s use the speedo to change gears at WOT?

its going to be all off without a hpp3....
