I do not think I would. I do not think that lock-up clutch was designed to take that kind of abuse.
Why do you want to lock it up? Are you running out of RPM?
I have seen that others ET better leaving the converter unlocked.

No problem.

I stall my TCI4000 to 1800 when I am looking for consistent runs like in bracket racing.
When I am going all out I will stall it to 2500 -3000 which usually gets me the best 60’ time.
60’ when stalled to 1800 ~1.55
60’ when stalled to 2500-3000 ~ 1.50-1.51

My old Yank 4400 liked to be stalled the same way.

about 3000 to 3200 if your tires can hold!
that will get you to the sweet spot in the STR of that converter

If you are not traction limited the yes.

1.71 is a good 60' but it should be better. What tires are you running? What are your mods? What is your race weight?

Our PT4200 likes to be loaded up to a point taht it just keeps from pushing the car through the beams and then hammered hard off the line.

Your results will vary. We are getting 1.42-1.43 60fts when it hooks solid. I would expect 1.48-1.52s depending on traction and your power level. That reduced 60ft will provide better ETs, ususally 2:1 on our car.

Good luck!!
