Default TH400 vs. TH350 converters.....

Is there any differences? I know the TH350C was the lockup trans, but i'm just talking the regular style most of us swap into the cars. Looking at a converter that was behind a TH400 and want to make sure it can be used in my TH350. thanks

Some TH400 converters have the large bolt pattern for the BBC. The small or dual pattern TH400 converters will interchange into a TH350, but who knows what the stall or STR would be. LOL. It won't be the same in the TH350.

So a stall rated behind an LS1 w/ a TH400 is gonna be different than one rated for an LS1 w/ a TH350?

That's correct....The TH350 is easier to turn than the TH400.

I am 98% sure on this, but you might double check with someone else.
