1st or not i just have a quick questions that buggin me....why on my 96 a4 does the shift indicator only indicate 2/d/overdrive....while i see other camaros indicating 1/2/d/overdrive????can i not start out and manually shift 1/2/and 2/1 on mine ...also i'm upgrading to a 99 console and i believe that indicates 1/2/d/overdrive...what gives here???on another note would a b&m megaconsole shifter for a 700r4 with a lil mounting work be able to be used on a 4l60e with the linkage and all

)Yeah, so they made 1st gear selectable for the 3.23's.
If you want to make 1st selectable, there's a little black stopper, you'll see it when you go to the 97+ console. Just use a dremel, and grind it down a little bit, you'll be able to throw it into 1st.
