Okay guys I am looking at buying the transmission for my car and need to know who builds the best auto units out there for the dollar right now.
I have a place lined up for one right now and am looking at about 2500 dollars.
The car will have 500 horse 500 ftlbs or torque on the motor and some juice in the near future.
I currently have a 4k stall vigillante sitting in the box that I was intending on using with it.
I also have a extra 6 speed that could be used. I want the car to cut some wicked 60's and still drive it on the road a bit. We are looking at a 3k raceweight.
If I do go the 4l60e route will the unit hold up at all? What about longevity?
Is the 4l80e another good option to explore into?
Thanks
