What did you guys use to actually bolt the trans up to the engine? What about the converter hub and the back of the crank? I remember one of the early issues being the LS1 has a recessed crank hub and the converters weren't engaging fully. Any problems so far?

T-400 ultrabell,reverse manual trans brake valve body, pro torque converter, b&M pro ratchet. swapped from the t-56 anb never looked back

can sum1 tell me what flywheel to use in this swap,i am an 98 z28 going to th400,was an t56 to begin with,any help would be thankfull,thanx

Just installed my TH400, so no real experience yet. We'll find out soon!

 

I had one in my previous Camaro.

 

I am in the process of converting from a T56 to a TH350. Also building a 408 with giggle gas. I will let you know how mine holds up.
