Tranny shifting kinda funny
Tranny shifting kinda funny I just bought a 99 SS with ARE stage 3 H/C. Cam is a 226/234 on a 112. 3.23s outback. Car has the stock converter in it right now and it shifts really nasty down low. It seems to shift into third by the time I hit like 25 mph and by 30 it is in fourth and locked.. Sometimes when I give a little gas when crusing it feels like it is hunting for a gear and then finds it. WOT it feels fine. Now I know it it not the best idea to run a stock verter with this cam, and I plan on getting a bigger stall, I just want to know if this problem is realted to the stock TC? The car has cutom tunning and there was a stall in it when it was tuned, but the previous owner took it out before the sale. Thanks for any input.
