I have never broken a singel tranny in this car.

Mid 11's on a stock tranny with HUNDREDS of passes. (over 400)

The I upgraded to a built Yank 4L60E, and ran 10.8's.

I love the OD, the low first gear and the smooth operation of these wonderful trannies. Get rid of the OD? Man, that will be a tough decision some day. I hope that day is FAR off.

P.S., Not everyone has my success with the trannies or the rear ends. You experiance may vary...

Good luck amigo's.

I'm confused. They can handle alot of power "supposedly" but they will not hold a t-brake? Why can they handle one and not the other?</strong><hr></blockquote>

Easy.. A transbrake locks two gears together so you can load the drivetrain and release it all at one time. About like doing a 5000rpm side step(dump) in a manual car... somethings gonna give.

11.1's here on the stocker. No problems yet. Although I'm sure I'm missing a 1/10 that a built tranny would give me.
