Default TH400 users..synthetic or not

Just wondering what type of trans fluid I should use. I had a built 4L60e before, and I was told not to use synthetic fluid with it. What should I use with the th400. If synthetic will run cooler and give me nicer shifts, I might as well use that right. thanks

I'll be using synthetic in mine as of this weekend. If its crap - Ill let you know. I think its because of the clutches. Normal DX3 is a bargain basement specification. Perhaps its time we did some R&D on synthetics for the A4?

Ford Type F. A lot of drag racers use this in their th400's and 350's with trans. brakes.
