Full weight car huh???? Slicks and skinnies aren't full weight hate to tell ya
BTW I pulled a 1.49 and several 1.50 60' on a TCI 3800 SI at 3500 lbs(slicks, skinnies, and pass seat out).

As for some of the other comments - Kevin Winstead is your TCI warranty - do a search on him and you'll find out what customer service is all about. There was nothing shoddy about the external construction. And yes, you will have to drill out the one hole in the flexplate. I originally wanted a Yank but at that time the SS series was $895 and I couldn't see the price differential making sense. My TCI has worked great from day one and I'm really pleased with it.
with driveabily and gas mileage in mind, which is a better converter for a daily driver, a TCI 3000 or 3500 with a 3.73 rear

When in doubt, GO BIGGER. Rule of thumb is pick the size you want and then go one bigger. I knew that rule when I got a converter and got a 3500. Guess what....it's coming back a 4000 now.
