Default Which stall speed?

For a 1998 Camaro Z28, with several mods including full bolt-ons, 3.73 rear, torque arm, control arm, panhard bar, subframe connector, HPtuner, and radials. Don't feel like a cam yet due to gas mileage. What stall speed is the best for gas mileage, drivability and ET? I've been told 3000 is the lowest I should go, lower typiclly means better MPG so i would prefer lower. So whats your opinion. advice? I'm thinking that a 3000 stall is good to bring my gas mileage down 2-3 MPG. I don't know if that MPG esimate is acurate though. I also read that someone got a 3600 stall and was mad that they didn't get a 4000 because the 3600 was too much like stock, but that was a trans am too. Please give me any advice, along with a stall speed, and the gas mileage my car will go down around the city.

4400 sounds about right. I purchased a 3500 and after figuring out how they work and are controlled by the computer I wish I would have gone much larger.

Seriously, since you won't have the car for, what, two years?, lurking around reading/searching so that you can make much more informed decisions when you get the car is the best way to go about it.

Plenty of people with converters run 3.73's. That is the most popular aftermarket gear for A4's. It's just a matter of going through enough posts and reading up. You will also get a feel for how things work in general and be able to get a rough idea on how a given combo will work based on the general order of things.
You are never going to be able to get a close estimate on gas mileage, there are just way too many variables to get closer than a few mpg. There are TONS of gas mileage posts all the time, try searching for those and see what people are getting and check their mods.

Like I told you earlier, once you have the car and the money ask again, ask me again, and I'll go through part by part and tell you exactly what I would do given your situation, money, and goals. Until then I highly recommend you limit yourself in starting new topics.
