Last night we were out running the streets doing some freeway bombing. During the end of the night I was making a WOT blast and the tranny didn't shift into overdrive until I lifted the pedal. It did this twice but it wasn't till the end of the night. Is it possible the tranny was getting to hot because this was during the ride home and this was the most continuous time in the car running it hard during the whole night. If this was due to heat will the trans be ok after the cool down.
