stall converter

Another little mentioned advantage when going to a stall converter from the LT1's 298mm converter is that the parobolic curve on the pump is far steeper allowing better fluid movement in the new converter. It really helps an LT1's drivetrain get out of its own way.

The point is that you make a lot more power at 3800 rpm, so when you punch it you'll be hauling ***** instead of waiting to reach the powerband. You won't be pulling 1.5-1.6 60's NA with the stock converter either.
dudes i dont give a ****... if your not going to answer my question then shut the **** up and leave it alone. It's easier for you to just not type a reply then to go off about it

Search doesn't work for you? The LS1tech.com search button that is third from the right up top?
If someone makes a thread and the one of the first responses is "try searching for it", it's not because we're trying to be smartasses. It's simply because there's plenty of information out there already and the question has been asked numerous times. Besides, no one was "going off" except you. You say you don't know much about cars, but the rest of us here do. Does that mean you have the right to march in and start telling everyone to "shut the f*** up" like you did? HA, I don't think so.
If you want help from anyone, you'd damn well better act mature enough to earn it. Better learn that quick or you won't get anywhere in life. No one will be helping or teaching you anything with that attitude of yours.

Let a mod/admin know if your search button honestly doesn't work. You cannot survive in this forum without the serach button. Well, maybe you can, but it would suck.
Participation here is voluntary. Questions get re-asked all the time. If you don't want to answer a question, then leave it be. Let someone else deal with it. You guys are not the search police. If you want to suggest searching or simply expanding the number of days posts shown to a newbie, please do it in a polite, non-condensending manner. FWIW, fequently search is not effective for a total newbie as he may not knowthe right key word to use to get reasonable search results.
