Common results are .5 seconds with most stalls that size. With some good drag radials such as the ones you have, I've seen cars lose up to .7 or .8. Can't wait to buy my stall!

My car doesnt seem to hook and when stopped at a stop light the rpms goes anywhere from 500 to 700 up and down, up and down. Thats why I was wondering if I had to tune the car for it.

I don't think I could stall my SSF3500 to 3k or above. Actually, my now restalled SSF4000 spins the nittos over not too far above 3000. I launch from ~2900 at the track thus far. (SSF4000)

Most guys I know will only bring the rpms up to like 1500 or so.. Even if they have a 3800stall. That way it gets the slack out of the suspension and rear end and when you come off the brake and floor it the converter will flash up high and give you that extra "kick" out of the hole..

Ask them if they've tried getting the revs higher, and if not tell them they should try it. I 60' better getting them close to 3k. (4k stall)
