Any previous or current Protorque converter users out there? Was thinking of using this company for my TH350 conversion and wanted to get some feedback on them. Give me your thoughts, opinions, suggestions, etc.

I meant so say, I was going to use their converters when I swap over to the TH350 and was wondering if anyone has heard of them or have personal experience? Thanks.

We use these converters every day. From our stock passenger car,suv,truck rebuilds to our crazy high boost high torque Diesel customers. They build to our specs for all our race trannys as well. Small diameter,with and without lock-up clutch, billet backing plate,one piece hub, ETC. these are all extremely high efficient converters and we have had very good experience with them. I hope this answers your questons.
I had one of their 10.5" units in my Tahoe when it had a 4L60-E. It had a conventional lockup clutch in it that required me to remove the pulse-width modulation feature from the trans. It locked up firmly and this 3-ton truck launched violently. I sold it when I vowed never to own a 4L60-E again. I really miss that converter. One of these days I'm going to get one for the 4L80-E, still running a stock unit in this trans.

Pro-Torque works with big-time racers like Pat Musi (Multiple Pro-Street Championships), Leo Barnaby (Quickest BBC/N20 Outlaw 10.5 car), Mike Modeste ('04 NSCA Limited Street Championship), and Paul Efantis (Worlds quickest street Supra) to develop some of the most effecient torque converters on the market today. They work closely with racers to give them the best converter possible.
I've seen Racepak files from people who use torque converters from Coan, A-1, Neal Chance, PTC, and Pro Torque, and none of them worked better or were more effecient than Pro Torque.
