Just read latest Chevy Hi Performance article on all wheel drive turbo S10 LS1, it seems truck cut 1.58 60ft. times and had oil starvation issues with 4l60e. I thought guys with hard leaving F-bodys could use a HEADS UP about this before it becomes a problem for them. I think adeep pan with some type of baffling should keep fluid pickup covered under launch conditions.
Maybe theres a special pickup that is routed to back corner of pan? <img src="graemlins/camaro.gif" border="0" alt="[Chevrolet]" />

i read that. i looked at the time, then looked at the 60' <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0"> then i read the article. they launched easy cause they didnt want to break the tranny <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> . then they said the bit about the oil- scared me a little. im cutting 1.55 on nittos, wonder what it would be on a WOT flash on ET streets.

 

I'm sure it was related to the awd. I've never heard of an A4 with oiling problems.

 

what issue was this magazine? I missed it....what did that truck run?

427 C5R block with twin turbo set up.
Same thing as his 9 sec. Vette, only in AWD truck form.
