Default NSBU Switch???

Hey guys, I'm working on an LS1 S-10 4x4 swap and have a question about the NSBU switch. I got a '99 4l60e with the TA motor and the tranny has a shorter shifter shaft and no external NSBU switch that mounts on the side. The factory 4l60e that came with my S-10 has an external NSBU switch that mounts on the side of the tranny that the shifter shaft goes through? I was wondering if maybe the TA's had an internal NSBU switch or maybe not one at all. I didn't know if I needed to swap the shifter shaft and switch from my stock tranny to the LS1 when I swap over the tail shafts and transder case. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks

Chris
