The main reason why I didn't go with the MTs was because of rain. I wanted an all around tire for the track/street. And just in case if it rains, I'd have no problems with fishing. I haven't had a chance to practice launching this thing with these tires yet. If l flash the converter to 3000, the tires chirp but the car moves forward. I have to hold it at that rpm though because anything over that and she'll spin bad.

i cut a 1.53 and 1.54 regularly.... my first gear in my 4l60e is about shot... i leave at about 3000..... and wish i could leave higher but it leaves in over drive if i stall it up as high as it will go i belive it would bo 1.499 if i could stall it up as high as it would go....
