Default Question for you TH350/400 guys...

What rpm are you at on the highway? Say around 60-70mph. Also what gears/stall do you have. I'm just trying to get a rough idea. I'm going to be running 3.42's/3500 if I go this route. Thanks.

I have 3.23s, 3800 stall

3000 is about 70 mph

the converter isnt really gonna effect highway driving...at least mine doesnt. its sits at the same RPM I want unless I take my foot off or get on it any.

I guess if you had a S/E stall (i.e. 5500 or so) then it would be crazy?

4.11's 4500 JW converter. 4000 RPM @ 70mph....needless to say I do NOT drive it on the highway unless absolutely necessary. I can watch the gas gauge going down when i do <img src="gr_eek2.gif" border="0">

This is good stuff, keep it coming. If I can get get it idle under 3000 at 70mph I'll probably go ahead and do it. I should be right around there with 3.42's and a 3200-3500 stall.

Terry I have not had it at the track yet. Target date is the end of Feb (when Edgewater opens) or perhaps another track in Indiana will be open, then I can tell you

not expecting much though, but I flushed enuff money away on that 4L60E to not really even care anymore.
